This position offers you
- You lead your five-member team with clarity, reliability and presence: You set priorities, provide orientation and create the conditions for maintenance, repairs and preventive upkeep to be consistently and punctually implemented – even when short-term disruptions require rapid replanning
- You recognise deviations early, initiate appropriate measures and always keep an overview – close to the team, close to the figures, close to the reality of the shopfloor
- You plan maintenance orders, manage capacities with foresight and sound judgement and ensure that all tools are ready for use at all times
- You contribute your own ideas, actively accompany changes and work closely with the Head of Toolmaking – as a reliable interface between operational day-to-day business and strategic development. Thanks to an early planned succession arrangement for the retirement of the current post holder in autumn 2027, there is sufficient time for comprehensive induction and sustainable knowledge transfer
You bring the following to the position
- You have a basic training as a toolmaker, polymechanic or in a related field as well as further training as a process specialist or equivalent – and you bring the motivation to take responsibility and actively develop a team
- You lead with clarity and empathy: You communicate directly, work in a structured way and act solution-oriented – even when maintenance does not go according to plan
- Confident handling of IT applications is a matter of course for you; SAP experience is a plus, which we are happy to introduce you to
- You enjoy strengthening standards, making knowledge accessible within the team and achieving goals together – with the ambition to really drive things forward
