About the job
You will be expected to independently carry out electrical installations on specialised ships. In varied assignments, you will work in an experienced team with modern tools. For our client, we are looking for an
Electrician specialising in ship and plant construction
Tasks
- Independently perform electrical installations on ships, including installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair
- Independently implement complex projects in the ship, plant and industrial sectors
- Professionally install and configure measuring and control devices
- Manage technical materials and monitor the use of installation materials
- Carry out assignments throughout Switzerland and neighbouring countries, occasionally with longer stays
Requirements
- Completed training as an electrician with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) and several years of practical experience
- At least three years of professional experience under expert supervision or a company electrician permit
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Team-oriented, communicative personality with an affinity for new technologies and innovative processes
- Flexibility for multi-week assignments abroad, on-call duty and possession of a category B driving licence
