The Office for Hunting and Fishing is responsible for game populations, fish stocks, and their habitats in the Canton of Graubünden. Many species such as the capercaillie, mountain pheasant, rock partridge, hoopoe, and little stint have a distribution center in Graubünden. In recent years, large predators such as the wolf, lynx, and occasionally the bear have also returned to the territory of Graubünden.
As a gamekeeper, you work according to the instructions of the district chief gamekeeper and the fishery warden and perform tasks related to game care, fish resource management, hunting planning, as well as hunting and fishing law enforcement. You are well acquainted with the intended region of employment and its waterways.
- Monitoring game and fish populations and their habitats in Bregaglia
- Monitoring various wild animal and fish species
- Supporting the fishery warden in fishing district IV Inn/Maira, part Bregaglia
- Managing the La Palza fish farm during the breeding period
- Completed apprenticeship
- Good physical condition
- Practical experience in hunting and fishing in the Canton of Graubünden
- Knowledge of fish and game species and their habitats
- Shooting skills
- Independent and responsible working method
- Willingness to be on call
- Category B driving license
- At least 20 years old
- Fluent in German and Italian, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills
