Job Description
You will undertake a full-time, two-year postgraduate training leading to an FPH certificate in clinical pharmacy. This training aims to expand the pharmacist's knowledge and skills to enable them to develop an independent clinical activity in the hospital, integrate into the interprofessional team around the patient, and promote continuity of medication treatments with the community setting. It includes theoretical training, practical training (medication reviews during medical rounds, answering questions and drafting documents at the pharmaceutical information centre), personal training (literature study), and a written work (presentation of clinical cases).
Clinical learning is primarily conducted in internal medicine (cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, nephrology, angiology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology) with a few months in geriatrics. Rotations in other areas are also possible at the end of the training, depending on the availability of supervision (oncology, surgery, paediatrics, intensive care, etc.).
The remuneration is aligned with that of other postgraduate trainings at the HUG Pharmacy and corresponds to a 50% activity rate.
You have good teamwork skills and ease in relating to medical and nursing staff. You have the ability and willingness to acquire new knowledge. You are autonomous, flexible, and demonstrate commitment.
You are comfortable with IT tools and have perfect oral and written command of French.
Qualifications
You hold a federal diploma as a pharmacist or an equivalent recognised qualification.
