What you will do here
- Independently manage research projects administratively from financial implementation to project completion
- Create and be responsible for financial reports and reporting for funding organisations, departmental controlling as well as internal stakeholders
- Competently advise researchers, project leaders and institute management on financial, administrative and funding law issues
- Continuously develop and optimise processes, templates and tools in research controlling and research administration
- Provide professional support to new employees in research administration; collaborate as a contact person with funding organisations
What you ideally bring with you
- EFZ commercial clerk, further training with a focus on finance, controlling or project controlling desired
- Several years of professional experience in project or financial controlling, ideally in a university, research or publicly funded environment
- Sound knowledge of SAP as well as very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, knowledge of the funding landscape (SNSF, Innosuisse, EU) is an advantage
- Analytical, structured and independent working style as well as enjoyment in independently handling complex issues
- Communicative, service-oriented personality with very good German skills as well as good knowledge of French and English.
