Finance Specialist (80 - 100%)
Your interesting area of responsibility:
- As an additional team member in the finance department, you take on the professional leadership of market-responsible transport companies in the ZVV in all financial matters.
- You negotiate budgets and review invoices, cost accounting and investments of the transport companies.
- You conclude financing, service and target agreements and monitor them.
- You prepare the consolidated financial planning of the ZVV.
- You draft and obtain resolutions from the responsible authorities (Transport Council, Government Council and Cantonal Council).
- You handle demanding business management and financial legal issues related to public transport.
- You analyse processes and controlling instruments and develop them in a structured way with a focus on digitalisation.
- You work in various regional and national committees and projects or take the lead.
What you bring with you:
- You have a business or economics education (university of applied sciences or university degree) and several years of qualified professional experience in controlling, auditing, finance or a related field.
- Ideally, you already have knowledge of the public transport financing system or a comparably complex industry (e.g. energy sector or healthcare).
- You work in a structured and reliable manner with high personal responsibility and a strong awareness of quality.
- As a team player, you enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration, are assertive and strong in negotiations, and are experienced in dealing with different stakeholders.
- You have an interest in digital and efficient solutions, as well as the motivation to actively further develop processes.
- Your heart beats for a strong and economical public transport system.
