• Ensure stable and resilient supply chains: You ensure continuous material availability even in volatile market and supply situations and reduce operational risks for production and sales.
• Control and optimise inventories: You actively manage inventories and create a balance between supply security, costs and capital commitment.
• Actively manage complex bottleneck and escalation situations: You identify risks early, conduct structured escalations and make well-founded decisions with a view to the overall system.
• Effectively lead and coordinate interfaces: You take on a coordinating role between planning, purchasing, production, logistics and suppliers and ensure clarity in priorities and decisions.
• Sustainably develop processes and standards: You actively shape disposition and procurement processes, bring in best practices and contribute to the standardisation and professionalisation of the supply chain.

• Experience with hands and feet: You have a Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) as a dairy technologist, in the food industry or in the commercial sector with experience in purchasing. Ideally, you have already completed further training as a process specialist or as a technical buyer/salesperson or possibly already have experience in purchasing.
• End-to-end understanding of the supply chain: You understand the connections between demand, planning, procurement, production and market and always act with the overall result in mind.
• High decision-making and implementation competence: You make well-founded decisions even under uncertainty, take responsibility and ensure consistent implementation.
• Strong system and data competence (ERP/SAP): You use systems not only operationally but also for controlling, analysing and continuously improving processes.
• Confident, binding communication at all levels: You communicate clearly, fact-based and appropriately for the audience – internally and externally – and build trust through reliability.
• Proactive, solution- and quality-oriented attitude: You do not wait for problems but actively shape, drive improvements and sustainably ensure high quality and stability.
