Employee Warehouse Logistics and Support
Office for Industry, Trade and Labor | 80–100 % | Chur
The Office for Industry, Trade and Labor (KIGA) currently employs around 135 staff in six regions in the canton of Graubünden. In addition to public employment services (RAV), we organize labor market measures for job seekers and manage the cantonal unemployment fund. Furthermore, we carry out various tasks in the areas of labor market and occupational safety.
We are looking for an employee for warehouse logistics and support (80-100 %) for the "Tischlein deck dich" deployment program in Chur, starting August 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring the smooth operation of food recovery
- Active participation in food recovery and inventory management in the central and external warehouse of the deployment program
- Responsibility for vehicle maintenance and, if necessary, deployment as a driver for food deliveries and pickups
- Support and guidance of job seekers on their way to the primary labor market
- Documentation of program participation from entry to exit and reporting to the referring agencies (RAV, disability insurance, social services)
What we expect from you
- Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification
- Ideally with further training in adult education or work pedagogy or willingness to obtain this
- High social competence, teamwork skills, and empathy in dealing with different target groups
- Independent working style, resilience, and composure even in challenging situations
- Very good German skills as well as good spoken Italian skills
- Good IT skills, especially in the use of MS Office
- Willingness for occasional Saturday shifts
