About the job
As a family-run high-technology company with around 19,000 employees at 71 locations worldwide, we are looking for forward-thinkers with unconventional ideas and drive. We live a culture of team spirit and mutual trust – the ideal framework to boldly venture into new territory and question the status quo. Our technologies inspire people to develop and build the unimaginable. Whether lasers, machine tools, EUV or electronics – TRUMPF creates technological worlds for future generations. Are you ready for new challenges?
Your tasks
- As the responsible project manager, you steer national Smart Factory projects from order handover to successful final acceptance. In doing so, you create a detailed project plan with clearly defined activities, responsibilities, milestones and deadlines.
- You are the primary contact for customers and sales staff for all system projects.
- As a central interface, you connect customers, sales partners, external suppliers, technical customer service and development, ensuring consistent communication throughout all project phases.
- You coordinate technical and organisational processes between the project team, suppliers and installation managers. You independently and sustainably establish regular coordination meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
- You lead project teams with foresight and promote a collaborative working style across locations and cultural boundaries.
- Improvement potentials are identified early by you during project execution, systematically consolidated and forwarded to the responsible persons and departments.
What we are looking for
- You have successfully demonstrated solid professional experience in managing complex large-scale projects with durations of more than twelve months – whether in industry or a comparable environment.
- A completed university degree at FH/Uni level in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification forms your professional basis.
- You bring an understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow.
- You have proven experience in escalation, change and claims management, as well as the ability to identify project risks early and develop and implement effective countermeasures.
- Your pronounced communication skills are confidently applied in a multicultural project and corporate environment. Cultural competence, a strong hands-on mentality and an independent and structured way of working characterise you.
- You confidently use business fluent German and French language skills. You are open to business trips in Switzerland (approx. 30%) and bring the necessary mobility.
What we offer:
- Innovative and high-tech working environment
- Early assumption of responsibility and varied tasks
- Respectful and appreciative corporate culture
- Dynamic and motivated team
- Company car for private use
