To strengthen our team in the AI Transformation area, we are looking for a motivated and committed Process Automation Specialist, 100%, at the Basel Headquarters location from 01.10.2026.
Your responsibilities
- You develop automation and AI solutions directly in the process of the specialist departments. You sit alongside colleagues and build together with them.
- You quickly understand and structure existing end-to-end processes, identify bottlenecks, media breaks and automation potentials, and ensure that solutions are applied at the right point in the process.
- You work out requirements together with the specialist departments. If requirements are unclear, incomplete or not yet formulated, you pragmatically specify and structure them until a feasible solution can be created.
- You prioritise automation ideas together with the specialist departments according to their concrete operational added value and focus on the use cases that actually have an impact.
- You act hands-on: you implement yourself and deliver a functioning result in a short time, rather than spending a long time planning.
- You quickly build prototypes to make the benefit visible early and iterate together with the specialist department until a viable solution is reached.
- You pragmatically choose the appropriate technological approach for the respective use case and use AI, low-code, workflow automation, system integration or RPA as needed.
- You accompany the introduction and adoption so that the solution continues to run reliably in operation after handover.
- You are part of a team where everyone works hands-on: you step in where it counts and promote a solution-oriented, pragmatic working style.
Your profile
- You have a degree in business informatics, business administration with a digital focus or comparable, as well as around 4–6 years of experience in implementation-oriented roles (ideal: consulting with on-site implementation, power-user role from a specialist department or strongly result-oriented environments).
- You bring proven implementation successes: solutions you have built and introduced yourself – not just analysed or designed.
- You have a strong understanding of processes, quickly grasp complex workflows and can translate professional requirements into structured, implementable automation solutions.
- You recognise which problems and use cases create the greatest operational added value and consistently prioritise between necessary impact and mere "nice-to-have".
- You have practical experience with AI and low-code platforms as well as with classic automation approaches such as workflow automation and RPA (e.g. Copilot Studio or Power Platform) and learn new technologies quickly.
- You bring a pronounced hands-on mentality: you get stuck in yourself, try things out and get things running instead of waiting for the perfect specification.
- You work very relationally and meet even non-technical people at eye level.
- You think pragmatically and result-oriented: a good solution today is better for you than a perfect one in six months.
- You bring self-motivation and energy: you are motivated by realising visible change and delivering concrete results.
- You speak fluent German and/or English; French is an advantage.
