The Traffic Office is responsible for the admission to traffic of vehicles, drivers, and boats, for the periodic inspection of vehicles and boats, for issuing administrative measures against drivers who have committed offenses, as well as for the taxation and collection of traffic taxes.
For the Traffic Office / Department of Justice, Security and Health, for September 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a traffic expert for the Chur location.
- As an expert for vehicle and driver examinations, you complete our technical team
- Conduct theoretical and practical driving tests
- Verify the technical suitability of vehicles
- Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or construction machinery mechanic
- You are at least 25 years old and have some years of professional experience
- This activity requires a high degree of responsibility, the ability to handle large workloads, and empathy
- You are a communicative and determined person and appreciate direct contact with users
- You are interested in modern traffic issues and willing to attend professional development courses
- You are characterized by good manners and a user-oriented attitude
- Good knowledge of German – knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- You have held a Swiss driving license for category B for at least five years
