For the Romandie Zone and the management of the VD/VS/FR regions, we are looking immediately or by agreement
A regional manager at 80–100%
What you will drive forward
- Managing employees in collaboration with site managers. Ensuring the qualitative and quantitative processing of cases in the regions and assuming overall responsibility for achieving objectives in the VD/VS/FR regions.
- Implementing the national and regional strategy of Unia Unemployment Fund
- Monitoring and influencing market share developments
- Technical, organisational and personal management of site managers
- Supporting and promoting specialised employees in the regions
- Maintaining contacts with municipal and cantonal authorities and the regional employment offices in the regions
- Coordinating regional issues with sites in the regions, e.g. in the event of collective redundancies and for collaboration with Unia regional sections and cantonal authorities
- Collaborating on national and regional projects
What you bring
- Commercial training, university of applied sciences/university or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in unemployment insurance or social insurance
- Leadership experience and ability to assert oneself
- Stress resistance and strong service orientation
- Analytical mind, autonomy and strong organisational skills
- Fluency in French and knowledge of German (spoken)
- Advanced IT skills (MS Office)
- Willingness to travel
- Interest in trade union policy issues
- Understanding of social concerns and other cultures
Main location of the position: Romandie Zone headquarters in Lausanne, willingness to travel
