What you can achieve
- Conducting cyber investigation procedures and related operations mostly in an international environment and in close cooperation with the public prosecutor's office
- Independent execution of online investigations (OSINT), securing and analysing digital traces as well as investigations in the field of cryptocurrencies
- National case coordination as well as management and processing of official and legal assistance requests
- Collaboration with national and international authorities as well as other specialised agencies
- Advising, supporting and training corps members in the areas of cybercrime and digital investigations
- Development and implementation of prevention measures as well as participation in the further development of methods and tools for digital investigations
- Analysis of new phenomena and developments in the field of cybercrime and preparation of corresponding recommendations for action
What distinguishes you
- Training as a police officer with a federal professional certificate is an advantage or willingness to train and further educate in the police field
- Professional experience in criminal police, cyber security or cybercrime
- Basic training or solid knowledge in the field of IT as well as a strong affinity for the internet, social media and new technologies
- Sound knowledge of the Criminal Code (StGB) and the Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO)
- Analytical, structured and networked thinking as well as an independent, responsible and team-oriented working style
- Very good oral and written expression in German, good English skills and additional foreign languages are an advantage
- High resilience, initiative and willingness for continuous professional development
