Operational Purchasing Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Responsibility for the professional and disciplinary management of a seven-member team in operational purchasing

• Ensuring smooth, timely procurement and continuous material availability

• Monitoring and controlling ordering processes, maintaining master data, and monitoring supplier performance

• Continuous development of procure-to-pay processes with a focus on digitalisation and efficiency improvement

• Inventory optimisation in the balance between availability, capital commitment, and defined service levels

• Promoting cross-departmental cooperation with production planning, strategic purchasing, and quality management to ensure a stable supply chain

What do I need to be successful?

• You have completed a technical or commercial training and further qualified yourself in the field of purchasing.

• You bring several years of professional experience in purchasing technical components and have already gained experience in staff management.

• You are characterised by analytical thinking and a structured way of working and proactively approach processes to continuously improve them.

• You are communicative, assertive, and at the same time a team player who keeps a cool head even in challenging situations.

• You have very good German skills (at least C1 level), good English skills (at least B2 level), and sound knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or IFS.
