What to expect
- Responsibility for achieving the budget, strategy, and sales targets of the product area, including controlling revenue and contribution margin as well as independent negotiations with leading manufacturers and suppliers in the field of access control and commercial drones
- You constantly analyze the market (GfK), recognize trends, and strategically utilize market opportunities based on the economic strengths and weaknesses in your product range
- Processing of manufacturer settlements (e.g. bonuses, discounts, credits) and ensuring transparent reporting
- You plan marketing measures in collaboration with manufacturers and our Category Marketing Manager
- Interface and coordination point between manufacturers, sales, purchasing, marketing, and accounting as well as implementation of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- You make smart decisions for our different sales channels, B2C, B2B, and retail
What you bring
- You preferably have a completed commercial education (or Bachelor or Master, ideally in business-related fields) and/or already have experience in Product/Category Management
- High ICT affinity and enthusiasm for security technology and drones
- You are analytically strong, well-organized, and do not lose your humor even in hectic situations
- Your environment knows and appreciates you as an ambitious team player who also thinks outside the box
- You have demonstrably proven your negotiation skills, and your communication skills and confident demeanor help you
- Your German is fluent, and for communication with the manufacturer, you need good English skills
- MS Office applications and a pivot table are not foreign to you
- A good sense of customer needs, and your enthusiasm for e-commerce are naturally present
