Pastry Chef 50 - 100 %, for the Night Shift

The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 people with disabilities protected jobs and daily structures. The employees are guided in their work by 150 specialists.

For our team in the pastry shop, we are looking for a humorous, flexible, and motivated baker/pastry chef/confectioner immediately or by arrangement.

Your diverse tasks

• Alternating and independently managing the various positions in the bakery and pastry shop
• Independently producing our high-quality bakery and pastry products (sandwiches, pastries, various desserts, etc.)
• Ensuring qualitative, quantitative, and timely production
• Ongoing control and monitoring of profitability
• Adhering to and continuously improving our quality standards
• Supporting, accompanying, and promoting our employees in the protected environment during work execution
• Adhering to and implementing hygiene regulations

You bring the following

• Completed training as a baker - pastry chef - confectioner EFZ
• Experience as a baker - pastry chef - confectioner (min. 2 years)
• Quick comprehension and good professional knowledge
• You are an entrepreneurial thinker and a loyal person
• Flexibility, resilience, tolerance, and a pronounced sense of order and cleanliness
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Impeccable character

Working hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
