A Medical Assistant at DISA - Adolescent Consultation
To complement the team of the interdisciplinary adolescent health division (DISA), the Women-Mother-Child Department is seeking a medical assistant at 80%, starting 1 December 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work there. We care for women throughout their lives in gynaecological, obstetrical and psychosocial aspects, as well as children from 0 to 18 years old.
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division is a consultation attached to the DFME, dedicated to young people aged 12 to 20 and addresses health-related questions or problems such as: overall health, sexual health, eating disorders, etc.
Mission
- You ensure the quality of patient and family reception (information, advice and possibly referral to other services)
- You collaborate in the administrative management of patients (managing appointments, planning examinations, interventions, summons, etc.)
- You participate in the administrative operation of the consultation (administrative support to the various division stakeholders)
- You assume and carry out consultation assistance activities (blood draws, injections, urine tests, ECG, maintenance, cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of equipment).
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a medical assistant or an equivalent qualification
- You are comfortable with adolescents and know how to adapt your communication style to your interlocutors
- You demonstrate rigour and have a sense of organisation and priorities
- You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You show good resistance to stress
- You can demonstrate good mastery of common IT tools
- Experience in a group practice and/or with adolescents would be additional assets.
Depending on the profile, the salary scale is between levels 5 and 6.
