The Goldau Nature and Animal Park annually delights around 450,000 visitors amidst an impressive rocky landscape and idyllic forests.
On 42 hectares, around 100 European wild animal species live.
About 200 employees and many volunteers are passionately committed to nature and species conservation, education, and research – advancing the sustainable goals of the scientifically managed park.
Your tasks
- Professional and species-appropriate care, keeping, and breeding of mainly European wild animals
- Cleaning and maintenance of the facilities as well as food preparation and feeding
- Implementing modern methods of animal training and behavioral enrichment
Your profile
- Completed training as an animal caretaker: wild animals with EFZ
- Initial craft training and technical understanding are an advantage
- High motivation to contribute your own ideas and improve animal welfare
- Experience in modern animal training and behavioral enrichment
- Versatile interest in European wild animals and their behavior
- Communication skills and enjoyment in conveying biological knowledge
- Open, friendly, and well-groomed appearance
- Reliability and sense of responsibility
- Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
- Enjoyment of practical and physical work in nature
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
- Driver's license category A1 and B
