Caretaker Assistant (a) Seetal Cantonal School

• You independently ensure the thorough cleaning of rooms such as the sports hall, the dining hall, the traffic areas, as well as the wet rooms (toilets and showers) and changing rooms.
• As part of general building maintenance, you actively support the caretaker with periodic tasks such as cleaning gutters, emptying and turning off water taps, or other maintenance work.
• Proper waste disposal as well as keeping the interior and exterior areas clean are also part of your responsibilities.
• Your seasonal tasks include outdoor work such as snow removal, leaf clearing, salting walkways, and weed removal.
• During school events, you actively assist, take care of setting up and dismantling tables and chairs, and ensure cleaning afterwards – further tasks such as minor repairs are taken on depending on suitability and talent.

• You have a craft or even a specialist operational maintenance EFZ training, very good German skills, and work independently, reliably, and with a high quality awareness.
• As a team player, you think ahead, show flexibility in everyday work, and actively support the caretaker team.
• You bring physical resilience, endurance, and manual skills for daily maintenance work.
• Late, weekend, and on-call duties as well as assignments during school events are natural for you; you take your holidays during school breaks.
• You enjoy working in a school environment with young people and treat all involved with respect and responsibility.
