About the job
REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with spinal cord injury, brain injury, as well as related conditions following accident or illness.
Our primary goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We successfully provide treatment in the area of initial as well as follow-up rehabilitation.
The day clinic is a semi-inpatient service for patients from Northwestern Switzerland. The stay in the day clinic usually follows the inpatient initial rehabilitation. Patients stay at home overnight and come to REHAB Basel for intensively planned therapies. The day clinic offers a daily structure oriented towards everyday life, which also includes leisure activities and shared meals. The time is also used to practise everyday life at home, to expand leisure skills, and to prepare for a possible return to work. The day clinic and the advertised position are under the direction of a qualified occupational therapist.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed individual as a Health Specialist (FAGE) or Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) EFZ 50% (annual working time) for our interprofessional, open-minded team in the day clinic.
