For our Technology department, we are looking for a full-time Presales Consultant Modern Datacenter (m/f/d) at our Wallisellen location as soon as possible.

About the role

As a Presales Consultant with a focus on Commvault, you are the technical interface between sales, customers, and manufacturers. You actively support the sales process in the DACH region and strategically position Commvault solutions with customers and partners.

Your tasks

Development of concepts and configurations for data center (server, storage, and network) as well as cloud solutions

The main focus is the manufacturer Commvault. Other manufacturers considered include Hitachi Vantara, Scale Computing, Nvidia, and Cloudian

Technical support of partners and presentations to end customers

Enablement of internal sales teams and partners

Support and technical elaboration of tenders (RFPs/RFIs)

Analysis of customer requirements and development of suitable solution architectures

Handling of the respective manufacturer tools

Preparation and execution of technical training for customers of our partners

Conducting product presentations and live demos of the respective manufacturers

Market and competitor monitoring in the field of data management, backup & recovery

Your profile

Several years of experience in presales/consultant or as a system engineer in the area of storage / backup & data management

Experience with related technologies (cloud, storage, virtualization, security)

Strong customer orientation and communication skills

Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; French is an advantage

Nice-to-have

Certifications in the Commvault environment

Solid knowledge in Commvault (e.g., architecture, implementation, operation)

Experience with hyperscalers (e.g., Azure, AWS)
