Technical Editor

• Designing, creating, and editing user and maintenance documentation for military systems
• Responsible for creating, professionally preparing, and managing editorial content according to internal or external guidelines
• Publishing documentation on various platforms
• Taking on administrator tasks for editorial systems and other documentation-related software tools
• Collaborating in projects with partial responsibility

• Completed training in a technical profession in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, or telecommunications
• Training or further education as a Technical Editor is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience as a Technical Editor
• Good knowledge of database-supported editorial systems
• Knowledge of the structuring method S1000D is an advantage
• Good technical understanding and the ability to describe/visualize technical functions for different target groups
• Independent personality with a reliable and precise working style
• Great interest in military systems
• Willingness to work on assignments at customer sites within Switzerland
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, knowledge of French/English is an advantage
