About the job
Your new role
As a Finance Specialist, you ensure the correct, timely, and legally compliant management of financial accounting. You are responsible for general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting, and actively participate in monthly and annual financial statements. Additionally, you take on tasks in controlling, prepare analyses and reports, and support the continuous development and digitalisation of financial processes. Participation in the Internal Control System (ICS) as well as ensuring transparent and well-reconciled financial data are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you provide deputy support for the Head of Finance during (holiday) absences.
This position is for you if
- You are a structured, conscientious, and responsible individual with a strong affinity for numbers.
- You work discreetly and appreciate handling sensitive financial data.
- You have a commercial basic education (EFZ) and several years of experience in financial accounting.
- You are willing to pursue further education as a "Finance and Accounting Specialist with Federal Diploma, Professional Bachelor".
- You think analytically and enjoy interpreting numbers and recognising connections.
- You have an interest in controlling topics as well as cost accounting and evaluations.
- You enjoy the further development and digitalisation of processes.
- You are confident in using ERP systems, Abacus is an advantage.
- You work independently but also enjoy collaborating in a team with various specialist departments.
- You act reliably, meet deadlines, and are solution-oriented.
