The city of Illnau-Effretikon – located between Winterthur and Zurich – offers attractive conditions for the approximately 18,000 residents with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centers, and the historic village of Kyburg. We train around 25 apprentices in various fields and prepare them for their entry into professional life.
Our maintenance team is committed to the upkeep and operation of the road and path network, the care and maintenance of public facilities, cemeteries, bodies of water, and waste management. We offer a

- you contribute to ensuring that public facilities are maintained and upkeep is guaranteed
- your involvement in traffic signage, closures and paving, ice control and snow removal, as well as green maintenance and shrub care is required
- you experience three exciting and varied years of training
- you are trained and supported by competent trainers
YOUR PROFILE IS A PERFECT FIT IF YOU:
- have good to very good grades in the respective core subjects (Sek B).
- are a skilled craftsman/craftswoman and a team player.
- are a reliable and independent personality with a high sense of responsibility.
- have a good physical condition and enjoy working outdoors in sun, rain, and snow.
