The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, housing, and therapy for children and adolescents from 4 to 20 years old in Fehraltorf. From June 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed personality to strengthen our residential area for the newly created position as
Head of Pedagogy Residential Area (Staff Unit) (80-90%)
For this central role, we are looking for a motivated, cheerful, and reliable professional who will help shape our pedagogical work for children and adolescents with high expertise and responsibility. You enjoy working interdisciplinarily, bring a reflective pedagogical attitude, and know how to connect people.
These are your tasks:
- Ensuring quality in pedagogical matters, according to AJB guidelines, in the residential area – in close cooperation with the residential team leaders
- You lead the support team for children and adolescents in the residential area and further develop the pedagogical work together
- Contact person for the concerns of parents or guardians
- Together with the residential area management, you take responsibility for the daily and recreational activities of the children and adolescents
- Close collaboration with various professions and promotion of constructive interdisciplinary cooperation
- Together with the quality management leadership, you revise and develop concepts further and bring in new ideas
- In case management, you handle sensitive topics responsibly and confidently

- Degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or Educational Sciences (tertiary level)
- A respectful and clear pedagogical attitude
