About the job
- Your focus is on inpatient care and you take on the professional leadership of the interdisciplinary team in a partnership dual leadership with the nursing ward management in Wil.
- You ensure therapeutic and medical care together with assistant physicians and psychologists.
- You accompany and support the assigned assistant physicians and assistant psychologists through structured training and regular supervision.
- Together with the senior physician team and nursing management, you continuously develop concepts and the orientation of the ward.
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are about to complete your specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- You must have a valid professional practice permit (BAB) from the canton of St. Gallen or be willing to obtain it before starting the position.
- You appreciate inpatient work with mentally ill patients and close collaboration in the interdisciplinary team on an equal footing. A recovery-oriented attitude is not just theory for you but lived practice.
- Flexibility, team spirit, strong communication skills, and continuous development are among your strengths.
- Independent working, taking responsibility, and making confident decisions are natural for you.
- For this position, German language skills at C1 level are required to communicate professionally with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
