Around 500 students and kindergarten children attend the primary/kindergarten level of the Wabern school. We run six kindergarten, six basic level, and five multi-grade classes in the 1st-2nd school year as well as seven in the 3rd-4th school year. Tasks
As a class teacher, you will accompany the children starting Monday, October 13, 2025, with a workload of 21 lessons.
Teaching days: Monday morning, Tuesday full day, Wednesday morning, Thursday full day.
The deputy position initially lasts 2 weeks, an extension afterwards is likely.
Your areas of responsibility include:
- Planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of your own lessons
- Supporting learners in social, subject, and self-competence
- Collaboration with the team partner and IF teachers, the staff, parents, school management, and specialist offices
- Individual further training, participation in staff meetings, and adherence to the standards applicable at the school.
Requirements
You hold a diploma for lower/middle level and preferably already have some professional experience.
You are a reliable, motivated, and resilient person with a healthy sense of humor. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You prepare your lessons conscientiously. Building relationships with the students entrusted to you is an important success factor for effective teaching.
