Java/Kotlin Internship

About the job

• You work on real client projects from the start and accompany solutions from the initial idea to productive deployment
• You develop backend services with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot and learn how modern enterprise applications are created
• You implement modern frontend applications with Angular or React and gain insights into the development of end-to-end applications
• You purposefully use modern AI tools in everyday development and learn how they can meaningfully support software development
• You gain insights into software architecture, API design, and the development of maintainable and scalable applications
• You participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and develop an understanding of high-quality software development
• You get to know modern development, testing, and deployment processes and gain insights into CI/CD and application operation
• You work in interdisciplinary teams with experienced engineers and benefit from their professional and practical know-how

• You have completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science or will complete it shortly
• You have initial practical experience with Java and/or Kotlin and are familiar with object-oriented programming
• You are interested in modern frontend technologies such as Angular or React, whether you already have experience or want to develop further in this area
• You are curious about new technologies and want to gain practical experience with the use of AI in software development
• You value clean, understandable, and maintainable code and want to understand what professional software development entails
• You enjoy taking responsibility, trying new things, and developing professionally
• You have very good German and good English skills
