The Marketing Department of the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne) invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant (PhD student) in Marketing under the supervision of Professor Sandor Czellar.
Job information
Expected start date: August 1, 2026 or a mutually agreed date
Contract length: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years. The maximum duration is 5 years.
Activity rate: 100%
Workplace: University of Lausanne, Switzerland
The open position is funded by the University of Lausanne. In addition to the doctoral coursework, the successful candidate will have access to research seminars, workshops, a well-equipped research lab, and opportunities to participate in doctoral consortiums and national and international conferences.
Your responsibilities
- A minimum of 50% of the graduate assistant's time will be dedicated to the completion of a doctoral dissertation.
- A maximum of 50% of the graduate assistant's time will be dedicated to providing teaching, administrative and research support for the supervisor.
The successful candidate will have to apply to the Doctoral Program in Management .
Your qualifications
- MSc in in the field of Marketing, Management, Psychology, or related disciplines;
- Interest in academic research as well as a strong motivation and dedication to start a PhD dissertation in marketing;
- Strong interest in consumer psychology, environmental issues and sustainable consumption:
- Solid conceptual, statistical and analytical skills required to conduct survey and experimental research.
