Technician Automation & Development Laboratory (100%)

Your tasks:

• Supervision of the development laboratory as well as conducting tests on new components, clamping systems, and automation solutions
• Building prototypes and test setups as well as supporting development in functional tests, optimizations, and digitization topics
• Analysis of technical malfunctions at customers, development of solutions, and performing repairs on site (approx. 20–40% travel activity)
• Participation in process optimizations in the field of automated clamping solutions
• Conducting functional and error analyses as well as documenting the results for development and assembly
• Accompanying installations and commissioning of automated clamping technology solutions at partners and end customers

What you bring:

• Completed technical basic training, e.g. as an automation technician or polymechanic specializing in automation
• Several years of professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in automation, test field, service, or machine tools
• Experience with PLC, automation processes, and good understanding of digital interfaces
• Enjoyment of customer contact, clear communication, and implementation of solutions directly at the customer
• Precise working method in the laboratory as well as calm, structured, and solution-oriented action in demanding situations
• Openness to new technologies, products, and a broad technical range of tasks
• Valid car driving license
