Skills
- Master's degree in statistics or equivalent, teaching interest is a plus.
- Experience in statistical consulting for scientific research projects.
- Proficient in R, with knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning.

What you will do here
- Plan, implement, and further develop teaching in the fields of statistics and data science at the master's (English) and bachelor's levels, as well as supervise students
- Supervise student theses at the bachelor and master levels and lead the statistical consulting service for students and staff
- Participate in application-oriented research projects at HAFL and, if necessary, develop and acquire projects with the departments
- Develop your own service and continuing education offerings in the field of statistics and data science
- Coordinate the team and assignments in the field of statistics at HAFL
What you ideally bring with you
- University degree at the master's level in statistics or equivalent qualification with advanced training in statistics; doctorate is an advantage
- Interest in teaching and innovative teaching-learning concepts; didactic training is an advantage; ability to inspire students about the subject
- Several years of experience in statistical consulting for scientific research projects in the subject areas relevant to HAFL
- User knowledge in R, knowledge in data science and machine learning
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, and willingness to work interdisciplinarily; ability to work on several dossiers in parallel
- Native language German or French, with good knowledge of the other languages; very good English skills
