Portrait of the School/Institution
The Campus Muristalden (www.muristalden.ch) is a private, state-recognised and partially subsidised school based in Bern. The working community currently comprises around 500 children, adolescents and adults in the areas of primary school, bridging programmes, grammar school and further education.
The Special Educational Integration Classes (HIK) are a special primary school offer commissioned by the Canton of Bern for neurodivergent children and adolescents. We currently support 16 learners in two learning groups (3rd - 6th grade and 6th - 9th grade). We work in an interdisciplinary team of teachers, special educators, social pedagogues and teaching assistants who jointly strive for a school day in which all learners are recognised and individually supported.

Tasks
• You support our learners aged approximately 12 - 15 years in lessons
• You accompany and coach the learners in individual and group settings
• You initiate and design preventive offers to promote social competence, participation and a respectful school culture
• You support teachers in social and challenging situations in everyday school life and develop sustainable solutions together
• You work closely with teachers, parents and other professionals
• You actively contribute your experience and ideas to the design of support and assistance offers
Requirements
• Completed training as a social pedagogue
• Ideally, you have a CAS in school social work or experience in a comparable school setting
• Experience with neurodivergent adolescents (e.g. ASD, ADHD)
• High social competence, resilience and an independent working style
• Creativity, humour and enjoyment of cooperative teamwork
