Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You are the heart of our finance and accounting department and ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and reliably!

• Preparation and further development of group reporting according to IFRS

• Independent preparation of annual financial statements according to OR

• Review and approval of closing entries, credit limits, and master data changes

• Determination and booking of provisions and impairments

• Reconciliation and monitoring of general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts

• Preparation and control of German VAT returns including VAT reconciliations

• Conducting business management evaluations and analyses to support management

• Active participation and support in finance-related projects and process optimisations

• Review and processing of credit card statements and employee expenses

• Responsibility for dunning and debt collection including monitoring of outstanding receivables

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate, HF, FH or a comparable qualification)

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in finance and accounting

• Proficient use of SAP and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Analytical thinking as well as a structured and precise way of working

• High level of personal responsibility, reliability and resilience

• Strong service and solution orientation combined with a proactive working style

• Team-oriented personality with enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
