Ensure electricity in Switzerland
In this role, you will shape the contractual foundations for the safe and reliable operation of our substations and lines. You will develop and negotiate plant contracts with our partners and ensure that ownership, use, operation, maintenance, and costs are clearly and practically regulated. In doing so, you combine technical, legal, and economic issues and coordinate collaboration between internal specialist departments and external partners. Your tasks include:
Creating, negotiating, and further developing plant contracts for substations and lines, including the associated technical annexes
Developing clear regulations on ownership and use, operation and maintenance, cost distribution, as well as the exchange of signals, measurements, and other operationally relevant information
Managing the entire contract process from kick-off through internal and external coordination to approval, signing, and filing
Coordinating collaboration with project management, grid maintenance management, engineering, legal and other specialist departments, as well as with distribution network operators, power plant companies, and other industry partners
This is how you make a difference
You convince with a structured and solution-oriented working style and keep an overview even with complex issues. You bring together technical and contractual topics, communicate appropriately for the audience, and lead different interests to viable solutions. In addition, you bring the following:
Completed studies or a comparable education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, law, or a related field
Experience in contract management and in leading or coordinating demanding projects, ideally in the energy sector or critical infrastructures
Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a high quality and responsibility awareness
Good understanding of technical and economic contexts; knowledge of the Swiss energy sector is an advantage
Fluent German skills and good English skills; French or Italian skills are an advantage
How we inspire you
You can expect a responsible role with direct relevance to the Swiss electricity infrastructure, plenty of scope for design, and a modern working environment in close proximity to Aarau station. In addition, you benefit from the following perks:
Flexible and independent working hours within a 42-hour week, including home office options
25 to 30 working days of holiday as well as company holidays between Christmas and New Year
Progressive social benefits and an attractive pension fund
Various opportunities for professional and personal development
Financial and/or time support for internal and external training
Competitive salary and recognition of good performance
