To complete its team, the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is looking for a first assistant at 80% in developmental psychology.
Job-related information
Start date: August 1, 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Activity rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Gross annual salary: CHF 83,160.- at 100%, increasing each year according to the scale .
Your activities
Task description:
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to personal research work in the field of cognitive developmental psychology.
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to teaching support: co-supervision of Master’s theses (Teaching activities under the responsibility of the full professor, participation in grading exams of the teacher, co-facilitation and organization of seminars.
Participation in administrative and organizational tasks of the research unit and the Institute and/or the Faculty will be required.

Your profile
We wish to hire, to complete our team, a person with the following profile:
- PhD in psychology or equivalent degree;
- Fluency in French and English
- Good knowledge of experimental psychology and cognitive developmental psychology
- Knowledge in the field of numerical cognition
- Mastery of and interest in statistical tools and analyses
