About the job
The National Roads Area VI department of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau, and St.Gallen with its maintenance work. For this purpose, the area unit has four workshops in Thal, Mels, Weesen, and Oberbüren as well as two support points in St.Gallen and Müllheim.
For the Construction Project Management area in National Roads Area VI, we are looking for a
Project Management Construction Project Lead (m/f/d)

What to expect
- Project management of traffic routing and coordination in ASTRA projects
- Collaboration on statements regarding ASTRA projects
- Planning, implementation, supervision, and construction/superstructure management in the structural maintenance of national roads
- Collaboration in operational maintenance in the specialist areas
- Schedule, cost, and credit control
- Updating the planning documents of the national roads
What distinguishes you
- Completed technical training with EFZ
- Further education in the construction industry, for example construction foreman HFP, certified technician HF, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in planning and construction (operational and structural maintenance of roads and engineering structures)
- Good IT skills (MS Office)
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
- High flexibility and resilience
