The Office for Correctional Services consists of the departments of Correctional and Probation Services, Prisons, and the Kalchrain Measures Center.
The Correctional and Probation Services are made up of the 3 areas "Administration", "Probation Service" and "Penal and Measures Enforcement". The main task of the department is the lawful enforcement of criminal sanctions as well as ordered care mandates.
Your tasks:
- Drafting enforcement orders for the commencement of sanctions including residence investigations and opening of admission orders (enforcement order)
- Administrative case management in the area of special enforcement forms for serving sentences (community service, electronic monitoring, semi-imprisonment)
- Detention coordination – placement of convicted persons in open or closed institutions – regarding custodial sanctions
- Recording/processing of arrests made and payment notifications for fines/money penalties
- Administration/management of the cantonally maintained federal criminal register (VOSTRA)
- Participation in quality assurance and projects
We expect:
- Completed commercial training with professional experience
- Confident expression in spoken and written language – knowledge of foreign languages desired – as well as very good IT user skills (MS Office, Juris an advantage)
