About the job

Insulator / Thermal Insulation Specialist
  • You ensure the proper functioning of the thermal insulation of various heat or cold production installations, ventilation or air conditioning for the industrial park of Monthey.
  • Ensure the maintenance and manufacture of equipment in the field of insulation, ventilation and sheet metal work
  • Analyse the assignments and plan the work to be carried out
  • Read the plans and instructions provided by the technical office
  • Choose the types of insulation and coating materials according to technical and legal requirements while considering their energy efficiency
  • Carry out the development (or cutting plan) of the envelope intended to cover the insulation of certain objects (tank, boiler, cold room, …)
  • Cut the different parts of the envelope and prepare them for assembly through various operations: drilling, stamping, bending, curving, …
  • Possess a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a thermal insulation specialist-sheet metal worker, tinsmith or an equivalent qualification
  • Have several years of experience in the field of insulation (would be an advantage)
  • Have a customer-oriented, solution-focused approach
  • Have an open and dynamic personality with good organisational skills
  • Have a strong awareness of the standards, procedures and safety regulations in force in your field of activity
