Within our Services & Performance Business Unit, we offer you the opportunity to join our External Assemblers Pool, a true showcase of our expertise in the field. We are currently looking for our future Field Service Technician, passionate about technology, operational excellence, and customer contact.
This permanent full-time position (100%) is based at our Mex (Vaud) site – BOBST headquarters and production site.
As a BOBST ambassador to our customers, you represent the excellence of our field service. Through your expertise and professionalism, you help ensure the performance, reliability, and value of our equipment at our customers internationally.
With availability to travel 150 to 200 days per year, you undertake missions lasting several days or weeks and play a decisive role in the success of BOBST installations and services.
Your responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and commission our cutting equipment and machines at our customers in Switzerland and abroad.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide technical assistance to our customers as well as our internal teams.
- Train users on safety, operation, and maintenance of our equipment, as well as on technical documentation.
- Work closely with Technical Support, R&D, Marketing, Demonstration, and Training teams to ensure impeccable service quality.
- Perform upgrades, PIP, retrofits, technical audits, and preventive maintenance of our solutions.

Your profile:
- Certified electrician, automation technician, or equivalent technical training.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in printing or packaging.
- Good level of English (any other language is a plus).
- Category B driving license.
- You are passionate about industrial equipment, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
- You are comfortable in collaborative and multidisciplinary environments.
- You easily create a climate of trust with customers.
- You are organized, autonomous, with excellent adaptability and good stress management skills.
- Your flexibility allows you to meet operational field needs.
- You master MS Office tools.
