Tasks
During your internship, you will gain hands-on insight into the commercial side of global airport operations. Working closely with our team, you will support international tenders, contract management and supplier negotiations while taking ownership of your own tasks and projects.
- Support the commercial team with international tender processes for ground handling and other airport-related services
- Assist with contract preparation, administration and the coordination of internal approvals
- Analise commercial offers, cost developments and operational performance data
- Prepare presentations, decision documents and management summaries
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Lufthansa Group airlines and external suppliers worldwide
- Take ownership of individual work packages and contribute to ongoing commercial and strategic projects

Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and motivated team player with a strong interest in aviation, commercial topics and airport operations. You enjoy working in an international environment, approach tasks independently and are eager to contribute your ideas to our team.
- An 80–100% workload for a period of 6–8 months
- HF diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s student or recent graduate; HF and Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters
- Fluent German, ideally at native-speaker level, and fluent written and spoken English
- Very good MS Office skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Copilot and/or AI agents is an advantage
- Analytical and structured working style, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
