The Technical & Event Services (TES) are the central service unit of ZHdK for events, specialised infrastructure, and AV technology. In addition to managing the AV technical infrastructure, the AV Services Loan provides equipment and services to students, lecturers, and staff in various areas.

Your tasks

The main task of this role is to manage the equipment pool for loan to students, lecturers, and staff. This includes:

• Loan of audiovisual equipment - counter service
• Technical information and advice
• Loan administration including dunning
• Maintenance and upkeep of AV equipment
• Cataloguing new audiovisual equipment
• Inventory management
• Checking completeness and functionality upon returns
• Inventorying, commissioning, and assembling sets

Your profile

We are looking for a service-oriented individual with a careful and reliable working style and a pronounced technical flair. You have completed vocational training as a retail specialist with a focus on consumer electronics or photography, or you bring professional experience from similar positions in consumer electronics. You enjoy working in a lively environment, are customer-oriented, enjoy advising, and bring a high degree of patience, resilience, and flexibility. Good language skills in German and English are required.

For this position, presence on Fridays is mandatory. There is more flexibility on the other three working days.
