The Addiction Medicine Service of the DP-CHUV is looking for a peer support worker for its Outpatient Unit at a 40% rate for a start date of 1 June 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Addiction Medicine Service (SMA) provides inpatient and outpatient care for adults in the Lausanne region presenting psychiatric and addiction disorders. It also develops research and training activities. It includes hospital units on the Cery site (Prilly) and on the Bugnon hospital campus in Lausanne.
Complex, addiction is a disease involving biological, psychological and social factors. Effective treatment takes all these factors into account and requires medical care, psychotherapy and a rehabilitation programme. The Centre therefore works closely with private practitioners and institutions in the canton of Vaud.
The SMA offers medical, social and psychiatric assessment, investigating disorders or diseases that may be associated. Patient care is individualised and complemented by group and community activities.
