The Veveyse Youth Animation Association (AJV) is advertising a position for a Sociocultural Animator at 80% for a maternity leave replacement.
The AJV is an association committed to promoting the well-being and harmonious development of youth through professional quality sociocultural animation.
To complete its team, the AJV is looking for a sociocultural animator at 80%. This position includes responsibility for receptions in the Châtel-St-Denis sector, as well as managing the free receptions in Basse-Veveyse on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Your missions
- Create and maintain connections with young people in Veveyse up to 20 years old
- Develop and manage sociocultural animation programmes that meet the AJV's missions
- Support the municipalities of Veveyse in implementing and coordinating a regional childhood and youth policy according to cantonal recommendations
- Provide technical and methodological support to the AJV committee
- Carry out various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the association
Required profile
- Bachelor of Arts in social work, specialising in sociocultural animation (or equivalent training)
- Professional experience in social work with youth
- Good computer and administrative management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and set priorities
- Capacity to analyse situations
- Knowledge of the associative fabric and the network of support structures for children and young people in the social and cultural fields at the local level
- Ability to analyse the political, economic and social context
- Availability and flexibility in working hours (evenings)
- Possession of a manual driving licence (category B)
- Experience in project development
Start date
1 October 2026 until 30 April 2027 or to be agreed. Interviews will take place during June 2026.
