The Galvaswiss Group operates the largest hot-dip galvanising plants, paint shops and powder coatings in Switzerland. For our location in Aarberg with approx. 140 employees, we are looking for a
Industrial Electrician / Electromechanic 100% (m/f/d)
We are addressing electrical fitters and installers or persons who have a qualification comparable to the EFZ in the field of industrial electrics and hold an installation permit according to Art. 13 NIV. Ideally, you have already gained experience in the tough industrial environment of an SME and can quickly identify and rectify faults in industrial plants. You are a team player and your working method is characterised by systematic, goal-oriented action and efficiency. In addition, you are flexible and willing to work outside normal working hours as part of an occasional on-call service. You have a good command of German, both spoken and written, and hold a category B driving licence. Additional skills and interests in the field of electromechanics, plant engineering or programming of PLC controls are most welcome.
What you can expect from us:
- Repairs, service and maintenance work on our production facilities, such as conveyor systems, crane systems, hydraulic equipment, compressors, etc.
- Assistance and electrical equipment for new constructions or renovations of fixtures, devices and aids of all kinds
- Building and general electrical maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations
- Assistance or independent construction of smaller, semi- or fully automated devices and aids for production
- Occasional on-call duty
