Production Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Development and improvement of manufacturing processes for the detailed production of metallic components

• Technical support of production and management of optimisation projects according to Lean principles

• Preparation of production-relevant data based on technical construction documents and plans

• Technical advice to interface areas such as project management, production planning and procurement for decision-making

• Active participation in projects and cross-departmental initiatives

• Involvement in the assessment of manufacturability as well as in process optimisation in production

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical basic training, for example as a polymechanic EFZ, supplemented by further education at a higher technical school or university of applied sciences in mechanical engineering, production or a related field

• Extensive professional experience of several years in the field of production engineering or manufacturing technology

• Proficient use of SAP, PLM systems, CAD NX and MS Office as well as understanding of Lean methods, Industry 4.0 and contemporary manufacturing concepts

• Fluent German skills at level C1 as well as good English skills at level B2, both spoken and written

• Structured, independent and quality-conscious approach to tasks

• Strong systems thinking for complex technical contexts as well as an analytical and reflective working style
