Job Description
In this role, you actively shape our range and implement strategic guidelines operationally. You drive the introduction, cleansing and optimisation of ranges. Based on market and competitor analyses, you successfully introduce new trend ranges and products into the company. In addition, you ensure the timely implementation of our marketing plans, regularly review the sales and turnover development of new introductions and marketing activities, and make an active contribution to profitability.
Your Tasks
- Operational implementation and co-design of the category strategy in close cooperation with the Category Manager
- As a central interface, the role ensures smooth exchange between sales, purchasing, marketing, pricing and data management
- Support and further development of the assigned product groups and ranges
- Implementation and monitoring of promotions and campaign plans including inventory management
- Participation in the selection and definition of new products and suppliers taking into account quality, technology and customer needs
- Analysis of market, technology and customer developments and derivation of appropriate measures
- Support in assortment, price and calculation optimisations
- Collaboration on projects, annual planning and reporting topics
Qualifications
- Completed EFZ training in electrical installation, as an automation technician or in a related technical field in the construction or industrial sector
- Technical and/or commercial further training in business administration, marketing or product management
- Sound technical knowledge in electrical engineering, control, machine or switchgear construction
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable function, ideally in trade and/or B2B2C online shops
- Analytical, structured and independent working style with team spirit, resilience and assertiveness
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as confident handling of ERP systems
- Fluent German in spoken and written form, good English skills are an advantage
