About the job
Your new role
Following two retirements, we are seeking reinforcement for our team. As a supervisor, you are jointly responsible with your colleagues in your department for the operation of the municipal emergency shelter, a supervised residential group, and the outreach psychosocial support of social welfare recipients. Together with your team, you ensure the primary needs of the residents at the Haus zur Grünhalde such as food, shelter, basic medical care, and hygiene for those affected. Additionally, you contribute to the household management of the accommodation, carry out clarifications according to legal requirements, and maintain constructive collaboration within the department, the city administration, and with external specialist agencies. An interesting, varied, and dynamic challenge awaits you.
This position is for you if
- You have experience in supervising or supporting people on the margins of our society.
- You ideally have vocational training in psychiatry or social work.
- You are extremely resilient and assertive.
- You value your independence and are willing to work alone with clients in a demanding context.
- You have the willingness and necessary flexibility for irregular working hours (including night and weekend shifts). The focus of these two positions is on night shifts (no on-call duty).
