Project Manager for Agricultural High Construction and Housing Promotion
Office of Agriculture and Geoinformation | 80–100 % | Chur
The Office of Agriculture and Geoinformation is a service unit of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs. It includes the four divisions Agricultural Measures, Structural Improvements, Surveying, and GIS Competence Center under one roof.
In the High Construction division of the Structural Improvements section, you provide an essential contribution to the sustainable development of the rural area. Your multifaceted field of responsibilities includes agricultural high construction, housing promotion, and projects for regional development. You accompany the construction of new barns and the renovation of existing barns, the rehabilitation of alpine pastures and processing facilities, and you are also responsible for the renovation and construction of residential buildings in the mountain area. In addition, you coordinate collaboration with cantonal and federal specialist offices, advise clients and architectural firms, and ensure professional project implementation. Your activity offers interesting insights into various specialized sectors and the diverse regions of Graubünden.

For the High Construction division, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a project manager for agricultural high construction and housing promotion.
Your field of responsibilities
- Supervise high construction projects in technical, administrative, and financial respects
- Support construction clients and planning offices
- Process subsidy applications
- Examine promotion applications within the framework of cantonal housing promotion
- Collaborate in working groups and national and cantonal committees aimed at further developing promotion instruments
What we expect from you
- Diploma from a university of applied sciences or a specialized university in architecture, agronomy, or a comparable field of study, or completed continuing education, e.g., as a construction technician or agrotechnician
- Good communication and confident demeanor
- Structured, conceptual, and solution-oriented working and thinking style
- Strong service orientation, team spirit, willingness to engage, and own initiative
- Very good knowledge of German; additional cantonal languages are an advantage
