The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Center AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Ms. Evelyne Uhrig, Ms. Séverine Buchter and Ms. Melanie Bruderer are seeking a Certified Nursing Specialist HF/FH as a permanent night watch for the Addiction Treatment Unit starting December 1, 2025, or by arrangement, with a workload of 80%. This is a fixed-term position until October 2026, with the possibility of a subsequent permanent position.

We work recovery-oriented with an addiction psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment setting. In addition, we work with various addiction-specific nursing therapeutic groups. Through milieu and therapy design, we promote the participation and self-responsibility of our patients.
