You already have clinical experience in Switzerland and want to specifically apply your expertise in emergency medicine in a leadership role? You appreciate independently managing internal medicine patients while working in the interdisciplinary environment of an emergency centre?
You work in an established emergency centre of a modern acute hospital in northeastern Switzerland, close to the German border and located in the Hochrhein region – with a high quality of life, good infrastructure, and short distances.
The emergency centre cares for over 30,000 patients annually. The work is correspondingly dynamic and clinically demanding, yet characterised by a clear team culture: Collaboration is actively lived – both in direct patient contact and behind the scenes.
Medically, the focus is particularly on the independent care of internal emergency patients, complemented by the interdisciplinary treatment of all emergencies. This creates an exciting field of activity for experienced internists with an emergency focus.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent care and management of internal medicine patients in the emergency centre
- Interdisciplinary treatment of acute emergency patients
- Assuming medical responsibility in daily clinical practice
- Support and supervision of junior doctors
- Active involvement in shaping clinical processes and quality standards
- Close collaboration with the various specialist disciplines within the hospital
Your skills:
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine
- Completed or nearly completed specialisation in Clinical Emergency Medicine (SGNOR)
- Several years of experience in the Swiss healthcare system, especially
- in the inpatient sector of General Internal Medicine
- as well as in clinical emergency medicine
- Very good knowledge of German
- High personal responsibility, structured working style, and clinical decision-making strength
- Strong team orientation and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
